Account and data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your PlantCare account and server-side data, and how to remove garden data that is stored only on your device.
Request account deletion
- Email robopioneer.product@gmail.com from the Gmail address used to sign in to PlantCare.
- Use the subject “PlantCare account deletion request”.
- State that you want your Firebase account and PlantCare server-side data deleted. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the Gmail account before completing the request.
Data deleted after verification
- Your PlantCare Firebase identity and profile.
- Subscription entitlement, credit balance, and usage-counter records.
- Payment-reference and purchase-verification records, except where retention is required for tax, fraud prevention, disputes, or other legal obligations.
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Legally required records may be retained for the applicable statutory period and then deleted or anonymized.
Delete local garden data without deleting your account
Plant records, photos, notes, care history, and assistant history are stored locally on your device. In the Flutter app, open Settings → Local data & privacyand choose the delete option. You can also remove the app or clear its storage from Android settings. These actions do not delete your Gmail or PlantCare account.
Subscriptions
Deleting your PlantCare account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Stripe subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play subscription settings or the PlantCare billing portal to prevent future renewal charges.
